Flora Europaea annual, T, 2n=32, tetraploid mesic, segetal weed, from the steppe up to the upper nemoral Neotropical Panico-Setarion, Brachyaction ciliatae, Chenopodietalia albi R87 segetal habitats             A sporadic weed, coming from South America, not so frequent in our segetal flora as its sister species Galinsoga parviflora.
